:: Soon Christmas is here ::

I have started creating my cards for Christmas and it´s so much fun! For my two cards I show you today I have used papers and flowers from Prima Sweet Peppermint. You find all supplies at Pyssloteket. This first card is a bit cleaner than the other. I have layered paper and die-cutted out a Santa. I have also used som 3d squares to get a nice 3d effect. I have also used my sewing-machine.

My second card is much more of everything ;) I used a stencil from Tim Holtz with Prima Heavy Gesso and Prima Color Bloom Spray for my background.

I just love the Druzy Stones from Prima! I added them on my snowflakes and they immediately felt more luxurious. For some extra sparkle I used Primas Glass Glitter Copper.

:: Layout for Blue Fern Studios Sketch Challenge ::

My gorgeous puppy Molle is nine years old now! I can´t belive how fast time flies?! He´s still my furry baby! For the last month he has had a bad leg with some pain and limping. Finally the medicine starts to give effect! Such a relief! I wanted to make this page about how much I love this dog! I used the gorgeous sketch at Blue Fern Studios as inspiration.

Mommys sweet boy!
I used a black paper from Sanctuary Collection called Birdsong Melody. I wanted to brighten up the area around my photos so I added Gesso over a Tim Holtz stencil called Doily. Then I misted with some red spray. (ha, ha can you see my thumb? Luckily my nail polish fits the other colors)

I used both old and new flowers from Prima. I like that some of the flowers has glass beads in the middle. I added glass beads on my page to follow throw that look.

I looove all chipboards from Blue Fern Studios! I´m not sure of the name of this wreath but I know how pretty it is! I painted it with red paint and then I added red glitter. Last I covered all of it with Glossy accent. It looks like candy!

I really like the combination of red, black and beige colors. It such a rich and yummie feeling over my page! The small details of gold really give it warmth.

:: Tutorial - Shaker Card with foam ::

I like to do my Shaker Cards with large sheets of foam instead of 3d squares och 3d tape. You can find packages of this foam in Swedish called Dekorgummi or Mossgummi. I bought mine at Pyssloteket. If you do it "my" way you will have a firm flat and nice surface.

Let´s get started!

1. Cut out your card base and the patterned paper you want for your front page. I like to do several at the time!

2. Cut out your foam in almost the same size as your patterned paper.

3. Now you need to chose what background you want in your shaker box. I want this light blue paper with snowflakes from Echo Park. You also need to die-cut your window and a frame. The inside of your frame shall be the same die as your window. I have used Lawn Fawn Small and Large Stitched Rectangle Stackables for my window and frame. I ues my Sizzix Big Shot and I get nice sharp cuts with the foam.

4. It can be a good idea to make sure all pieces fit nicely.

5. You also need some kind of see throw material. I use Copier Transparency Film. Cut it a bit larger than your window.

6. I use my ek tools powder tool to get rid of  the static. I´m not sure it´s the correct name ;)

7. Now it´s time to add the transparent sheet. If you´re going to add melted Embossing powder as I  did you need to do that first. Otherwise your sheet can be crocked. I use double sided tape as adhesive.

8. When you add the foam I use tape on the plastic and Tacky Glue for the foam and paper side.

9. I wanted some sentiments on the front of my card so I did this before adding the plastic sheet. First I use my ek tools powder again. And I really must say - How did I survive without this powder before?! It´s a huge difference when the tiny Embossing Powder grians only stuck where they shall!

10. I used Winter Unicorn stamp.

11. I wanted a cute scene with the Unicorn at some snowy mountains. I used Lawn Fawn Winter Unicorn set and Lawn Fawn Puffy Cloud Borders die.

12. Last I used Tacky Glue to seal the whole thing. I added sequins from Prima and Jillibean Soup.
I will come back with better photos of the Shaker card and several more ideas of Shaker cards!

:: I´m a nice WITCH ::

I really like to play with my titles! At Viggos birthday party we had a monster theme and I was dressed as a Witch. You who know me a bit better know that I´m a nice Witch!
I used a paper from Primas Rossi Belle as background.

I had a lot of flower packages with only a few flowers left. I added Prima Gesso on them and then I used Dylusion Ink spray Crushed Grape. I also stamped on them with a KaiserCraft stamp called Victoria. I got some nice texture in that way.

Roses from Prima! The grey one is from Salvage District called Trianon and the black one was yellow before I gave it a coat with Dylusion Ink Spray Black Marble.

I changed the pistils on the flowers and used Druzy Stones from Sweet Peppermint collection.

For a couple of weeks we have a Stencil theme at the Pyssloteket blog. I used two different stencils from Tim Holts here. One called Shatter and one called Lace. I also ued Prima Glass Beads and Glass Glitter for some fun textures! Make sure to also visit Pyssloteket were I got all my supplies!

:: Tag in gold and blue ::

Enjoy your everyday life! Important words to live by! Not easy but important!
I made this Tag for the Mini challenge at More than words. You find this challenge at their facebook page. Hope you like my Tag :)

I think it turbned out really nice! The colors are great together and it feels a bit regal!

First I covered the Tag with patterned paper from Prima. I added three different Washi tapes.
Then I found a golden doilie and the pretty golden lace from Tresos de luxe.

I decided that blue and brown flowers looked really nice with the gold and added flowers from Prima and Petaloo.

The letters are from American Crafts.

To get some cool textures and effects I used Caviar beads in blue and gold, gold flakes, Stampendous Aged Embossing Enamel Gold, clear glass beads, Prima Memory Hardware Glass Pearls, Prima Glass Glitter Gold Rush and glitter.

I painted my Chipboards with Martha Stewart acrylic paint gold. The word stickers are from Tim Holtz.

Just love this cool effects with all layers and effects!

:: ATC Mermaid ::

This cutie was traded for another Mermaid from USA. I was a bit afraid of creating her but I must say it was really fun! I hope her new owner will love her ;)
She is made with similar technique as my other girls. I used NeoColors II, Faber Castell Big Brush Pit Pens, Acrylic paint, Stickles Star Dust, paper from Papermania Happy Days, stamps from Darkroom Door and a pair of scissors.
